Introduction to Growing Microgreens

Learn how to leverage small spaces to grow organic microgreens and sprouts in the tiniest of spaces.

Microgreens are densely grown seedlings that are harvested young for their highly concentrated nutrients. They’re delicious, are slightly more mature than sprouts, and have an intense aromatic flavour. Microgreens can be grown in small areas not suitable for other crops, making them perfect for small space food production.

Join Jess Holland, CERES’ microgreens manager, for this introduction to growing microgreens. Jess will:

  • Walk you through the production process
  • Answer your questions
  • Share insights into managing an urban farming business
