Online Learning

Our online learning opportunities allow you to learn at your own pace and at your own place.

The CERES School of Nature and Climate offers a wide range of online leaning opportunities for individual and school/early learning centre learners. On this page you’ll find links to:

  1. Online and on-demand (pre-recorded) courses and workshops – Offer a range of interesting and engaging topics, from Beginning Permaculture which looks at the ethics and principles of permaculture to Art as Activism, teaching art and looking at your ’cause’ and how art combine. There are also opportunities for professional learning for educators.
  2. Real-time online workshops for individual learners – These courses begin as a seed towards learning, as they are often the first growth of learning. We hope that you continue your own learning with other online and on-demand courses or workshops, or with workshops and courses face to face at CERES. As seeds grow into seedlings, as your learning matures and provides nourishment and joy to the community, so will the knowledge you grow.
  3. Online excursion programs for schools and early learning centres – Live, educator-delivered student webinars, plus access to hands-on activities, videos, resources and games to help your students with their learning. Our online excursion programs come with a student webinar, a school teacher guide, and instructions for activities to do before and after your webinar.
  4. Free webinars – a series of engaging and thought-provoking free webinars.

Caring for climate and change
Exploring ecosystems
Towards zero waste
Farming our future

The online program designed by CERES was excellent for the students as it was both interesting and engaging. The instructor delivered the teaching and learning activities professionally and they perfectly supported our current unit of work being studied in class. Our boys loved the interactive nature of the sessions and they promoted much discussion afterwards as well. We would highly recommend CERES and we look forward to taking part in future online opportunities!
