Therapeutic Horticulture Program

Therapeutic Horticulture Program

Gardening and spending time in nature are proven activities to promote physical, mental and social wellbeing.

As a community environment park and urban farm, located on the banks of the Merri Creek wildlife corridor on Wurundjeri land, CERES provides a unique location for individuals to spend time immersed in nature and caring for both plants and themselves.

CERES has a long history, of working with diverse clients, understanding their varied needs and goals, supporting rehabilitation, promoting wellbeing and building confidence and connection.

The CERES’ Therapeutic Horticulture Groups are for a maximum of 8 participants and are led by a Facilitator experienced in delivering Therapeutic Horticulture activities for clients with psychosocial needs, in a community setting.

The group will meet weekly 10.00am to 2.00pm for 11-weeks on Tuesdays commencing 16th July, 2024. Participants can join for just one or more program.
