Nature Journaling

Nature Journaling

Explore the meditative practice of nature journaling while building your connection to nature and the flora and fauna of the Merri Merri Creek.

Join former CERES  educator and artist Claire Mosley in a nature journaling workshop focused on the flora and fauna of the Merri Merri Creek.

Participants will be invited to learn about their local place through watercolour art and sensory activities. The workshop will also explore the importance of getting to know our local places and encourage wellbeing for all involved. You will be provided with tangible skills and art activities to help you record your observations of the natural world.

No art experience is needed for this workshop!

Meet your trainer

Claire Mosley is a watercolour artist, natural dyer and environmental educator who paints and draws on Wurundjeri Country in Narrm, Melbourne. Inspired by the Australian bush, Claire captures the essence of lived moments on her outdoor adventures. You’ll find her outside, capturing the skies, the waterways and the flora and fauna within it. Her art encourages others to open their senses and look closer at the wonders of nature around them.
