Introduction to Permaculture

Introduction to Permaculture

Learn about Permaculture by beginning with its ethics and design principles in this 5 hr immersive Workshop.

‘Permaculture’, you have heard the term but what exactly is it?
In this workshop you will learn about permaculture by exploring the ethics and design principles of permaculture and how we can create resilient, sustainable systems that work with nature and the natural limits of our planet.

Some of the topics covered include:

  • What is permaculture?
  • Permaculture ethics and design principles
  • Designing with permaculture zones and sectors
  • Energy and nutrient cycling
  • Veggies, fruit and animals in permaculture systems
  • Social permaculture
  • Practical ways to bring permaculture principles and ethics into your life right now

This workshop will be beneficial to those new to the concept of permaculture and also for those thinking of undertaking a Permaculture Design Course.
