Event Series Event Series: Greek Cooking

Join Kelly from The Hellenic Odyssey and come together to create a generous spread of food and learn about the Mediterranean diet, its origins and benefits. You will learn how to prepare traditional authentic dishes that you would expect to eat in the kitchen of a Greek family home or at Yiayia’s (Greek for grandmother) house. You will prepare all the meals together and enjoy your feast!

 

Meet your trainer

Kelly Michelakis is a passionate home cook with Cretan heritage. She hosts culinary travel tours to Crete and conducts Greek cooking classes and walking food tours in Melbourne. Kelly helps people learn how to cook delicious and nutritious food, in a fun and interactive environment.

  • Keftedes: Herbed beef mince patties with a refreshing yoghurt sauce
  • Bougatsa: Creamy vanilla semolina custard enclosed in a crunchy filo pastry parcel dusted with cinnamon sugar
  • Drinks included: Greek coffee & Greek mountain tea
