Students will learn to distinguish between organic and industrial farming methods, understand their environmental impacts, discover diverse food production sites, and discuss sustainable practices to feed the world responsibly.
- Students understand and can identify various organic and regenerative farming practices
- Students can identify elements of industrial agriculture and explain their impacts on surrounding landscape and wildlife
- Students can identify alternative locations in which we can produce food
- Students can identify ecological indicators of how farming practices are linked to climate change
- Students can discuss solutions on how to feed a growing population whilst still caring for our environment
