Students will learn to distinguish between organic and industrial farming methods, understand their environmental impacts, discover diverse food production sites, and discuss sustainable practices to feed the world responsibly.

  • Students understand and can identify various organic and regenerative farming practices
  • Students can identify elements of industrial agriculture and explain their impacts on surrounding landscape and wildlife
  • Students can identify alternative locations in which we can produce food
  • Students can identify ecological indicators of how farming practices are linked to climate change
  • Students can discuss solutions on how to feed a growing population whilst still caring for our environment
