The Water and VELS grid provided above was created by CERES for the DEECD’s Strategic Partnerships program. The suggested activities included in the four VELS and Sustainability matrices (Waste, Water, Energy and Biodiversity themed) are based upon the Learning Focus statements of each domain and attempt to create ‘throughlines’ in the domains and levels. A full guide is provided in the VELS and Sustainability Professional Learning session- this is much more comprehensive (100+ pages) than the above grid- this small grid is just a taste of what is possible with the VELS!
