This program makes links between environment (where we live), culture (who we are) and citizenship (how we live) in our Asia Pacific region.
Connects to the following modules of ResourceSmart Schools: Energy
Accessible to schools in the following Melbourne metropolitan regions: Eastern, Northern and Southern
Appropriate for students in:
Primary – Grade 3 to Grade 6
Secondary – Year 7 to Year 10
Secondary – Year 11 to Year 12
What is offered to schools:
- Opportunities to connect with, support, learn from and establish a sister school relationship with school communities involved in reforestation initiative in Timor Leste.
- Opportunities for students and schools to track, calculate and offset the carbon emissions from their computer technology use, while also supporting the planting and maintaining of trees in reforestation initiative in Timor Leste – through the WithOneSeed website or the app for smartphones and tablets.
