Program: Organic Gardening Incursions

This program helps schools to implement sustainable practices and to teach the children to grow.

Accessible to schools in the following Melbourne metropolitan regions: Eastern, Northern and Southern

Appropriate for students in:

Early Childhood
Primary – Prep to Grade 2
Primary – Grade 3 to Grade 6

What is offered to schools:

The program offers teacher workshops, incursions and community events. The Sage Garden aim to engage and excite children to grow their own organic food, to embrace sustainability and to support the community in achieving this.

This program has a version offered to Early Learning Centres, and another for Primary Schools students.

Early Learning
We work with the early learning environments to best support the educators. Time frames and structure of our partnership can be made on a case by case basis.
Our incursions are most successful with a maximum of 30 children, after that we will divide the class for 2 incursions.

Primary Schools
We work with the schools to best support the educators. Time frames and structure of our partnership can be made on a case by case basis.
Our sessions are best run one class at a time.
