Program: Melbourne Water Kids Teaching Kids Conference – 23 & 24 October 2018 (TBC)
This program brings schools together to share their knowledge of water and contribute to a discussion of how to protect our waterways.

Accessible to schools in the following Melbourne metropolitan regions: Eastern, Northern and Southern
Appropriate for students in:
Primary – Grade 5 to Grade 6
Secondary – Year 7 to Year 11
What is offered to schools:
> Schools can participate in two ways:
1. Presenting at the conference (workshop, video or main stage performance)
2. Attending as an audience member.
> They have access to:
- Education resources.
- Workshop templates and support throughout the process.
- Email newsletters
- At least 1 free school visit from Kids Teaching Kids to work with students to develop their workshop/performance
- Opportunities to receive mentoring from Melbourne Water staff.
- Email newsletters.
- Email and phone support
- Media support
This program is for Grade 5 to Year 11 students.
Both venues will be in Melbourne and accessible via public transport.
The topics include a number of water themes eg. waterways, water conservation, litter, composting
