Year 7s Clean-Up Brighton Beach
Every year Clean-up Australia Day encourages and inspires thousands of Australians to take to their local park, beach, bushland and streets and really help make a difference to their local environment.
This year, over one hundred Year 7 girls from Firbank Grammar took part in ‘Schools Clean-up Day’ at Brighton Beach. This was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to contribute to their local community by removing litter from the beach and coastline. The girls collected many bags of litter and sorted the rubbish into landfill and recycling.
