World Environment day is a day to encourage awareness and action for protection for our environment. It is annually held on June 5th. Each year there is a different theme and this year’s theme is about air pollution. We as a school felt that it was necessary to celebrate World Environment Day so we can encourage the students to be aware of what they are doing to the environment.

On Wednesday 5th June children will be allowed to wear casual clothes with a splash of green or blue and bring along a gold coin donation. An activity will be completed between snack and lunch in class and weather permitting we will have lunch together as a school community on the basketball court. All funds will go to the building of our Biodiversity Garden that will be built later on in the year .
