We found a baby possum!
Caring for Baby possum – November 2021
We found a baby possum in the sandpit. It was cold and sacred. Educator wrapped the baby possum in a blanket and placed it in a box. We called the wild life rescue. They advised us to take it to the vet so they could make sure baby possum is well enough to be placed in a foster care. They said that the foster carer will look after the baby possum until it is old enough to be released to the wild. Children gently pat the possum and said goodbye.
