As part of the Green Machine option on Wednesday afternoons students at Upper Yarra have planted about 400 native tubestock at the front entrance to the school and along Riversdale Road. Yarra Ranges council donated 200 tree guards to protect these plants. The tubestock was sourced from ECOSS nursery in Wesburn and leftover plants from local nurseries.
