This is our prize-winning totem pole of Under The Sea. It is a frenzy of colour and activity and is just bursting with recycled goodies. Everything from second-hand stockings, cushion inserts, buttons and knitted garments went into our collage. The children created their own interpretation of sealife after watching real footage of the marine life around Lombok. They then let their imaginations run wild.
Just like The Great Barrier Reef, Lombok has a wonderful and vibrant marine life including 6 of the world’s 7 turtle species. We learn about our Sister School in Lombok through Art and LOTE.
