Tim Silverwood visits Western Heights College
Environmentalist Tim Silverwood recently conducted a research expedition
to the North Pacific Gyre ( Great Pacific Garbage Patch). We were fortunate to have Tim visit our school on 9th December where he spoke of his experience and showed the award winning documentary “Bag It” to our Year 7 students, raising awareness about the consequences of plastic pollution in our oceans. We are hoping that Tim’s enthusiasm will reflect in a tidier school yard in the future!
