Term 2 Wrap Up, and exciting things ahead in Term 3
Over 18,000 students visited CERES in Term 2, making it a fun and hectic time for the Excursions team. We are all looking forward to a well earned break to recharge for an exciting Term 3.
Two Exciting new teaching spaces will be coming on line during Term 3:
- The new Indonesian classroom (known as the Dapur). The Indonesian Dapur will allow visiting schools to further immerse themselves in the wonderful Indonesian culture, whilst staying dry and warm in a fantastic new teaching facility!!
- We are also excited to have almost completed the revamp of the African Hut. Sadly the hut fell victim to vandals last year and has been out of action ever since. We are thrilled to be able to offer this space again as part of our African Cultural programs. The hut has also been built in tribute to one of founding educators Eric Bottomley, who was a key figure in bringing cultural education programs to CERES.
CERES Excursions wish everyone a safe and restful holiday period. We hope to see you in Term 3.
