Sustainability News, Term 4, 2012
This year, we commenced our journey to become a 5 star sustainable school. We continue to take positive steps to help us along our way. Some actions completed this year:
- The Sustainability Team has drafted a policy that will go to school council and the school community in the near future.
- We have set up a student action team called The Green Team and they went to Currawong Bush Park last term to partake in Sustainability workshops (see below).
- Our School Environmental Management Plan has been drafted by the staff.

CURRAWONG BUSH PARK LEAD2SUSTAIN WORKSHOP
Last term, Manningham City Council organized a Lead2Sustain Workshop for Primary School students’ in the area. Students were invited to participate in numerous workshops created by high school students as well as environmental companies. Students learned different ways to help the environment.
