Our water journey at Harvest Home Primary School has been informative, insightful and educational for the wider school community at Epping North. The students have been exposed to the water saving curriculum that will assist future sustainable leaders to influence and guide changes for their environment.
Students from grade 1/2 Explored water conservation by learning about the water cycle, water uses and ways to be water wise at school and at home. Students created their own water cycle bags, to take home to observe each stage of the water cycle. They also discovered how different cultures celebrate water, through dream time stories, dances, and through cultural games.Students also undertook the water pledge and created their own water saving booklets and posters, to share and educate parents and siblings.
