Solway Primary School "Enviro News"
Our Environment Captains and Environment Monitors include regular “Enviro News” in our weekly school newsletter. These articles provide the school community with useful updates on issues relating to the environment and sustainability. For example, they may relate to any current sustainable initiatives underway at the school; student reports on sustainability/environmental excursions/incursions; international Environment Days; National Tree Planting Days; or perhaps letting people know about sustainable workshops/events taking place in our area.
The “Enviro News” is a great way for us to share our journey of becoming a Sustainable School, to celebrate our successes and to help spread the sustainable message to the wider school community.
The attached page is a small example of some of our news items.
