Solar Panels at Moreland Primary School
The article about our Energy assembly which I have included on this site, was printed in our newsletter and introduced our partnership with Moreland Energy Foundation Ltd.(MEFL).
Following this assembly we applied for a $10,000 grant from MEFL and were successful. Over the term 3 holidays in 2015, we installed our first set of solar panels. I have also attached our application letter to MEFL.
We are now planning to ask our school community to sponsor the purchase of more solar panels so that we can reduce our energy consumption and environmental footprint.
