In the Grade 5/6 shared space, the classes have a recycling station. In this recycling station has many containers to put our different types of waste into. This includes general rubbish, compost and recycling containers. We also have a container where we put paper that has only been used on one side. This paper is then reused when we are doing class work or it is made into little books for all the classes in the school to use. The children really enjoy making the books and think it is a great way to save paper. Another container is used for coloured paper scraps that are then reused for projects, or in Art. The aim is to have the recycling stations up and running in each class in our new school building during term 2, 2012.
