Recent Programs
This year we were successful in our application for the Eco-Cubbyproject. Students from prep to grade 6 work together to develop a design for a cubby using sustainably sourced materials and using sustainable technologies.
Our grade 5/6 environmental leaders will be delivering workshops at this year’s Kids Teach Kids at Silverton Primary School and Phillip Island Eco Centre as part of the Coastal Ambassadors program.
We are currently planning our National Tree Day with 400 indigenous grasses and shrubs to plant. These were grown by our students but we also have 180 trees on the way donated by the 2 Million Treesinitiative.
We are nurturing some Lord Howe Island Stick Insects as part of Zoos Victoria program that allows our students to learn first hand what is involved in caring for and breeding a critically endangered species.
