Orchard Grove’s Kermit Green Energy Award
Orchard Grove awards a classroom a Kermit Green Energy Award every week. Energy monitors do spot checks at recess and lunchtime. The Energy Monitors release’s an energy report at assembly where the award is announced. Classes that have all ticks on the energy check go into the raffle for the award. The winning class goes to the office and changes the sign on the weekly winners board, gets the Kermit and gets a packet of frogs for a quick energy bursty.
Orchard Grove is near a wetland and has just created a frog bog so even their energy award has a frog theme!
