Each term this year we will be having a whole school sustainability day for each of the Resource Smart modules.
So far we have had a water day and a waste day, energy and biodiversity will be held in Term 3 and Term 4.
All children are involved in activities with their multi-age house groups. These groups of around 50 children are supported by our teachers and complete 45minute hands-on workshops. The presenters of these workshops are representatives from local organisations, our RSS facilitator and our teachers. The aim of the day is to support our staff and students to make conscious, informed decisions about their use of precious resources at home as well as at school.
