The Whitefriars College Sustainability and Environment Team are encouraging students and their families to take part in the Melbourne Water Frog Census, while on a family walk during isolation. The Frog Census App allows the community to learn about their local frog species, calls, habitats and any impacts. This citizen scientist program enables people to record frog calls, identify them (if they can) and send a simple report to Melbourne Water. Check out the college story and how to download the app on https://www.whitefriars.vic.edu.au/stew-club-frog-census/?value=17440

More information can be found at https://www.melbournewater.com.au/community-and-education/waterwatch-program/waterwatch-resources-teachers-and-community . Being an activity around a water body at sunset, please priorities safety.
