CERES VET Students have been working hard and are well placed to receive qualifications and statements of attainment at the end of the year. Students from Warringa Park, Croxton School, Victorian College of the Deaf, The Island, Jackson School and RMIT Work Education Program have all been studying horticulture and hospitality this year.

Warringa Park students have planted and maintained vegetable garden beds around the cafe, and are also working on the planter boxes outside the Merri Table. Hospitality students have been cooking up a storm with recent dishes including lamb with green beans, crunchy macaroni and cheese and chocolate almond cake. Yum!

We are now starting to plan and schedule for 2014, and welcome enquiries for new groups who want to do hands on accredited (Certificate II) or pre-accredited horticulture or hospitality study. Contact Jess Smart 9389 0120 or jessica@ceres.org.au for more information.
