Glen Huntly Primary School: Five Years On and Still Conserving Water
Glen Huntly Primary School recognises the essential part schools play in addressing cultural and behavioural change for improved environmental performance, through our children and our community. Long before
2005, as part of our environmental awareness program, students have participated in activities to help reduce their ecological footprint, including reducing water use. Staff at Glen Huntly Primary School have
integrated education for sustainability in the curriculum and believe raising awareness and education is an essential step to creating a sustainable future. The enthusiasm of our students is testimony to the
effectiveness of our school program. We’d like to share our water journey with you.
