Garden Pilot Program
In term 1, 2015 the Year 3 students took part in a new and exciting garden program. It involves the students working on a rotational basis in three different groups once a week in three different areas to support our knowledge of the garden.
The areas of work have been named Learning (with curriculum links), Creating (artistic expression) and Gardening (hands-on). This program has been supported by the work of Mrs Sandra Renehan and Mrs Angela Caltabiano in collaboration with the classroom teachers. The current unit of study has been around insects in the garden and whether they are a friend or a foe. It has been enjoyed by all.
We look forward to expanding this program to other levels during the course of the year.
