Exploring Energy at our Centre
On the 16th of August, 2018 the children in the Pelican room made a solar oven to explore the concept of solar energy. We gathered some equipment such as a cardboard box, foil, cling wrap, sticky tape and had a discussion about how the sun generates heat energy. With the help of each child, we build the components together as a group. We found out that the temperature can reach 200 degrees!! See the photos attached.
