Energy Week at Barry Beckett
Wominjeka everyone, welcome to our red kinder weekly adventures. This week is our ‘Energy week’. Children have been using different energy tools to explore different energy sources. Children also gained great understanding of what energy is, wheat we need it for and why we should save energy. Using the Energy kit from CERES, children were able to explore a range of items such as the wind up boat, the solar oven, the large thermometer, our solar panels and the inverter. Children also experimented with the colour changing board that changed with body temperature and heat. From the book ‘The Windy Farm”, children also gained the understanding of using wind as an energy source to make electricity which is better than oil because it runs out.
