Eastwood PS – Sustainability Case Study
What an exciting time this has been to look back at what we have achieved in Sustainability at Eastwood Primary School over recent years! As a school community, we recognized that it is important for the children to experience lessons that are authentic and they can relate to real world that they live in. It also is important that the school models Sustainability in realistic ways that the children can visualize.
Over the years there have been a number of Sustainability lessons and ideas run by each level, culminating this year with a whole school focus with a Sustainability Teacher integrating Sustainability lessons within each level curriculum.
Attached is a small summary of some of the activities, lessons, school and community initiatives that Eastwood Primary School achieved over the years.
