Drink bottles and recycled water at Barton Primary School

Students in Prep and Grade 1 have been learning about water waste and why it is important to bring a drink bottle to school every day. Drink bottles are a great way to reduce water waste. Once you fill them up the water can stay in there all day, ready for whenever you are thirsty!
Grade 3 β 6 students have been learning about the treatment of sewage and how recycled water is returned to our homes and school in the purple pipes. Remember purple pipe recycled water is not for drinking but very useful for other things including watering non food plants, washing cars and flushing toilets.
