Composting at St Oliver Plunkett
As a component of our Inquiry Sustainability throughline our Middle classes set up a whole school composting programme.
They educated other classes on compostable and non-compostable materials and wrote to the council to obtain composting bins for every classroom and the staffroom.
The Middle students maintain this programme, collecting and emptying the composting bins each day and turning and tending to the compost when required.
