Who was involved?
All students and staff were involved in the activities. (220 students)

What happened?

Planned activities were available for teachers to choose from. Each year level participated in their chosen activity. Middle and senior students completed Biodiversity Audits, including the number and types of native animals at our school.

3/4 also investigated the different biodiverse environments throughout Australia. The 5/6’s watched David Attenborough’s ‘Our Planet’ and investigated endangered species as well. The junior school completed bug hunts, investigated native and introduced species in Australia and found out what plants need to survive.

All students now have an understanding of biodiversity and how our school fits into the wider biodiversity of our town and state and country.
