Year 11 students have used their student voice to promote the importance of green waste composting. The students created a proposal and presented it to the Principal’s Leadership Team who allowed them a budget to purchase the solar cone compost bin ($200 through Compost Revolution). With the assistance of maintenance, the students installed the bin, are now reducing their carbon footprint and educating other students about their important environmental action. During National Recycle Week, the students invited students to come along for a chat about their waste journey. The Sustainability and Environment Team are very proud of their efforts and passion.
