CERES Community Environment Park is a 4.5 hectare green oasis in East Brunswick located on the Merri Creek. We have a range of social enterprises on-site such as our Honey Lane Farm, Merri Café, the CERES Bushfood and Native Nursery, CERES Propagation and our CERES Market and Grocery. Our non accredited VET programs provide a unique opportunity for students to learn in this vibrant and supported learning environment.

We can accommodate groups of up to 9 students in our commercial registered training kitchen to learn more about a wide range of sustainable food and develop practical culinary skills as they prepare and sit down to a shared lunch.

  • Safe use of food preparation equipment
  • Demonstration of culinary knife skills
  • Preparation of a range of ingredients such as vegetables, fish, meat, eggs.

  • Clean kitchen premises

What should I wear?

  • Students are asked to wear appropriate clothing for cooking with enclosed footwear and bring their own apron.
