This on demand professional development will provide an introduction into learning outdoors and using its benefits to improve student wellbeing. It will look at how to put outdoor learning into practice within your school context.
This eight-week course explores different approaches to environmental education through different topic areas such as:
Each session has been crafted to involve the learner in the topic. Participants will have the opportunity to invent, practice, and play with the topics they have learned.
Sessions 1 – 6 (see course content section below) have been designed for special interest, individual professional learning days for teachers who can’t commit to the full short course. Cost is $150 per person, per session. Refer to the course content below for session links to more information and booking options.
