Understand how sustainable building design and its corresponding principles can help to mitigate the effects of climate change and create housing equality in Australia.
- Identify how Australian homes contribute to the climate crisis
- Identify and understand the key sustainable design principles that inform sustainable building design
- Adapt and apply the sustainable design principles to a floor plan to decrease emissions and energy use, and increase comfort and wellbeing
