Olympic Village Preschool is one of five Banyule Early Childhood services.

We believe in inclusion, acceptance, equity and the right to the same opportunities for all children, families and community members from a diverse range of backgrounds. We believe that all people have a right to their own way of life and that differences are viewed and seen as an opportunity for life learning and to form perspectives outside of our own.

We believe that families are children’s first and most influential teachers. As Educators, we work in partnership with families and our community, including professional peers, to develop a curriculum that is responsive to each child’s needs and builds on their cultures, strengths, interests and knowledge.

We empower children to voice their views and opinions about decisions that affect them, so that they know they have been heard. We support children’s resilience and promote safe risk taking by respecting their rights to play, explore and investigate.

We value and promote conservation and sustainable practices. Children are supported to show respect for and to become environmentally responsible through intentional and spontaneous learning opportunities.

We're abuzz with excitement because we'll be at the @melbflowershow this weekend with our mates @beyondblueofficial spreading the good word about soil, seeds and good vibes in the garden!

We'll be running drop-in seed planting community workshops at the Beyond Blue stall (B58). Designed for kids aged between 5-12 years, we also welcome kids and grown ups of all ages to come and join into these workshops!
