Explore how people are revitalising local ecosystems by sustainably managing land and water resources to create healthier habitats and counteract human-induced damage.
- Students recognize the critical role of biodiversity in maintaining healthy ecosystems
- Students employ scientific methods to study biotic and abiotic elements in local wetlands, understanding their contribution to biodiversity
- Students learn data collection techniques on ecosystem support for fauna and explore effective habitat restoration strategies
- Students assess historical land usage and its implications on current practices, while considering how community efforts and urban planning can aid ecosystem restoration
